The hose can be installed horizontally, vertically or obliquely. The most ideal state is vertical installation. At the same time, it should be avoided to be installed near the wheel. If necessary, a baffle can be added.
Generally, the metal hose can be divided into three lengths: the first is the compression length, that is, the length when the hose is compressed to the limit position; the second is the installation length, which is in the middle position of half of the maximum displacement The length of the hose; the third type is the stretched length, the length when the hose is stretched to the maximum limit.
When installing the hose, the hose should be in the middle position, the so-called installation length. In the installed state at this position, the hose can have two directions of movement when subjected to an axial load. Otherwise, if it can only move in one direction, it will affect the strength of the metal hose and reduce the service life.
In the actual installation process, considering that the length of the hose is measured with a ruler according to the calculation result and then the installation may affect the production efficiency, some foreign manufacturers install the ruler directly on the hose, and cut off the ruler after installation.
1. When choosing a metal hose, in order to facilitate installation, please use a metal hose with a loose sleeve flange at one end as much as possible.
2. The surface of the metal hose should be protected during the electric welding operation on the construction site to prevent the welding slag and arc ignition from burning the metal hose.
3. It is strictly forbidden to install twisted metal hoses.
4. There should be no bending along the root of the metal hose, and there should be no dead bends.
5. The medium passed must not be corrosive to the bellows material, and the content of chloride ion in the medium should be ≤25PPM
6. Install strictly and correctly.
7. Mechanical damage to the flange sealing surface is strictly prohibited.
